This policy governs all travel service bookings made through Tripfest.in. At Tripfest.in, we value transparency and want you to book with confidence. This policy outlines how cancellations, amendments, and refunds are handled across our travel services. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
- General Policy
Tripfest acts as a booking intermediary between customers and third-party service providers, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, transport providers (bus, train, and cruiselines) and travel essentials (visa assistance and travel insurance). Consequently, all cancellations and refunds are subject to the specific rules and policies of the respective service provider. - Flight Bookings
- Cancellation Charges: Fees are determined by the airline’s fare rules; please note that some fares may be non-refundable.
- Deductions: Airline cancellation fees, Tripfest service charges, non-refundable convenience fees, and payment gateway charges will be deducted from any refund amount.
- Timelines: Refunds are processed only after airline approval, typically taking 7–21 working days.
- Payment Method: Credits are sent to the original payment method via CCAvenue. Tripfest is not responsible for delays caused by external banks or airlines.
- Hotel Reservations
- Policies: Terms vary by hotel and rate type, ranging from free cancellation and partial refunds to 100% retention for non-refundable rates.
- No-Show Policy: If you fail to check in, the entire booking amount may be forfeited. No refund will be issued unless specifically approved by the hotel.
- Holiday Packages & Tours
Unless otherwise specified, the following indicative cancellation charges apply based on the time of cancellation before travel:- If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made 15 – 29 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
- Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the Tour itinerary & are irrespective of the date of booking.
- Upon cancellation, refund will be made after deducting the Retention amount.
- Note: Actual charges depend on vendor terms and seasonality. No refunds are provided for unused services or itinerary changes made after departure.
- Amendments & Rescheduling
- Subject to availability.
- May incur amendment charges and fare differences.
- Our service charges may apply for processing modifications.
- Cancellation by Service Provider
- If an airline/hotel cancels, refunds will be processed as per their policy.
- In case of force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics), refunds depend on vendor policies.
- Tripfest is not liable for additional compensation beyond the refunded amount unless legally required.
- Cancellation by Tripfest
- We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to pricing/technical errors, incorrect passenger details, or suspicion of fraud. In these specific cases, a full refund will be processed.
- We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to incomplete payment. In these specific cases, a no refund will be processed.
- Non-Refundable Components

- Visa assistance fees
- Travel insurance premiums
- Refund Process
- Refunds are always made to the original payment method.
- For bank transfers, refunds are processed to the verified customer account.
- Timelines depend on banking channels.
- Important Conditions
- Cancellation requests must be sent via your registered email ID.
- Cancellations are valid only after written confirmation from Tripfest.
- Verbal requests are not accepted.
- Customers must verify booking details immediately after confirmation.
- Disputes & Chargebacks
- Customers must first contact Tripfest for resolution.
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in legal action.
- All disputes are subject to jurisdiction in Mumbai court.
